Norwegian Embassy Local Staff Union Sues Foreign Ministry Over Employer Rights

The union for locally employed staff at Norwegian embassies (Delta UDLAF) has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish employer responsibility and secure fundamental rights. Locally employed staff constitute nearly two-thirds of foreign mission personnel. The ministry acknowledges the notice, and the case will test legal obligations for state operations abroad.
