AfD's Weidel pushes Ukraine talks, cheap Russian energy; courts France's National Rally

AfD leader Alice Weidel calls for swift Ukraine peace talks and a return to cheap Russian energy, signaling a policy shift that could reshape European far-right alignment. She claims the AfD is in talks with France's National Rally to bridge differences over Russia, indicating potential coordination on a pro-Russian stance ahead of elections. The move challenges EU consensus on Ukraine and energy security, though its immediate impact depends on electoral outcomes and internal party dynamics.
