Poland initiates EU-level protection for Bolesławiec pottery against Chinese imitations

The Polish Ministry of Finance is drafting regulations to secure EU geographical indication protection for Bolesławiec pottery to combat an influx of low-cost Chinese counterfeits. The effectiveness of these measures remains uncertain pending EU-wide implementation and enforcement against non-EU manufacturers.
