Nigerian troops arrest suspected kidnapper during ransom collection in Nasarawa

Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke and DSS operatives arrested a suspected kidnapper in Nasarawa State while he was collecting a N200,000 ransom from a woman. The arrest is a routine law-enforcement action, not indicating a shift in regional security dynamics. It underscores ongoing insecurity and ransom-related crime in central Nigeria.
