Israeli artillery and ground incursions hit southern Syria, escalating violations

Israeli forces conducted artillery shelling in Quneitra and ground infiltrations in Daraa, marking a notable escalation in southern Syria. The operations, reported by Al Jazeera, suggest an intensification of Israeli military activity against targets in the area, though specific objectives and casualties remain unclear. This follows a pattern of Israeli strikes in Syria but the ground component signals a potential shift in tactics.
