Ecuadorian cocoa export revenue declines 57% amid price correction

Ecuadorian cocoa prices have retreated from a peak of $13,000 to approximately $6,000 per ton over a two-year period. This price normalization has resulted in a 57% year-over-year decline in export revenue for the first half of 2026, according to the Central Bank of Ecuador.
