Zelensky: NATO membership would give Russia more security than Ukraine staying outside

In a meeting with Finnish PM Orpo, Zelensky argued that Ukraine's NATO membership would enhance Russia's security more than Ukraine remaining outside the alliance, framing the issue as a security guarantee. The statement comes amid a tense period in the conflict, with Finland's PM visiting with business delegation. The claim is a rhetorical position, not a policy change, and its significance lies in signaling Ukraine's continued push for NATO integration.
