Trump floats Venezuela election between Rodríguez and Machado as 'interesting'

US President Trump, in a brief press exchange, called a hypothetical Venezuelan election between Delcy Rodríguez and María Corina Machado 'interesting,' signaling possible openness to a negotiated transition. The remark is informal and lacks policy detail, but it may hint at a shift in US stance toward engaging with Maduro's inner circle. Uncertainty remains over whether this reflects actual policy direction or off-the-cuff commentary.
