Russian strike hits Kyiv's North Bridge during German Chancellor's visit

A Russian air strike hit the deck of Kyiv's North Bridge (Pivnichnyi) on Sunday, the second consecutive day of strikes on the bridge, per Mayor Klitschko. The attack coincides with German Chancellor Merz's unannounced visit to Kyiv, signaling continued Russian targeting of critical infrastructure despite high-level diplomatic presence. Russia has not commented, and the extent of damage remains unclear.
