Irish court sentences serial sex offender to 11.5 years for rape of teenager

Richard Murphy received an 11.5-year prison sentence for the rape of a teenager, to be served consecutively to an existing sentence for prior sexual offenses against three other victims. The court identified the defendant as a persistent danger to young females.
