Belgium Ocam report identifies jihadist extremism as primary national security concern

The Belgian Coordination Unit for Threat Analysis (Ocam) reports a decline in extremism-related threat reports from 213 in 2024 to 157 in 2025. Despite this quantitative decrease, authorities maintain that jihadist extremism remains the foremost security threat to the country.
