Western Balkan transport associations protest Schengen driver stay limits

Transport associations in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are protesting current Schengen Area visa regulations that restrict the duration of stay for professional drivers. The demonstrators seek a formal exemption or policy adjustment to prevent supply chain disruptions caused by the 90-day limit. It remains uncertain whether the EU will grant specific concessions to non-member transport sectors.
