Escaped Russian POW Suspected in Killing of 5 Ukrainian Troops Near Kharkiv

On Oct. 13, five soldiers from Ukraine's 72nd Mechanized Brigade were shot dead in a residential house near Kharkiv. The brigade suggests possible involvement of Russian citizens, with theories including an escaped Russian captive or a sabotage group; officials have not confirmed any version. This incident, if confirmed as an escapee attack, would mark a notable security breach behind Ukrainian lines, though uncertainty remains high.
