Belgian shipping group Exmar will lease a 152,000-cubic-meter floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to Côte d'Ivoire for 10 years, generating $21.3 million annual EBITDA. The unit will operate at the port of Abidjan from Q3 2027, enabling state-owned Petroci to import LNG and supply gas to Côte d'Ivoire Energies for electricity production. This marks a strategic move to diversify gas supply and address growing power demand in the region.
