Chelyabinsk Region Establishes UAV Defense Management Body

Governor Alexey Teksler signed a decree creating a regional management body for unmanned aerial systems to protect critical infrastructure from UAV attacks. This reflects Russia's ongoing efforts to institutionalize counter-UAV measures at the regional level, likely in response to increased drone incursions. The move signals a broader trend of regional governments in Russia formalizing air defense structures.
