South African student in Cuba reports water shortages, food spoilage under exchange program

A South African student participating in the Nelson Mandela-Fidel Castro exchange program has publicly detailed severe water shortages and food spoilage in Cuba, as reported by 14ymedio. The account highlights deteriorating living conditions in Cuba, though it is a single testimony and may not reflect the broader experience.
