Al-Fajr Yemen intensifies strikes on Houthis, claims 1,200 killed in 24 hours

Al-Fajr Yemen forces have escalated airstrikes and ground attacks against Houthi positions, claiming to have neutralized 1,200 fighters and destroyed 440 vehicles in a single day. The offensive is aimed at exhausting Houthi capabilities, but humanitarian conditions in Taiz are deteriorating, with hospitals under pressure and food shortages reported. The claims are unverified, and the scale of the reported casualties suggests either a major battle or inflated figures.
