Ukrainian court sentences six Russian Rosgvardia commanders for ZNPP shelling

A Ukrainian court has sentenced six Russian Rosgvardia officers to 12 years in prison in absentia for the 2022 shelling of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. While the convictions are legally binding within the Ukrainian judicial system, the sentences remain symbolic as the defendants are currently under Russian jurisdiction.
