Rivers Assembly reinstates three pro-Fubara lawmakers amid ongoing political rift

The Rivers State Assembly has reinstated three lawmakers aligned with Governor Fubara, marking a tentative step toward resolving a prolonged executive-legislative standoff. However, previous agreements have collapsed over disputes on political control, so the durability of this rapprochement is uncertain. The move signals a potential easing of intra-party conflict in Rivers State, but the underlying power struggle remains unresolved.
