AI Generates 22.5% of Belgian Federal Parliament Questions

An investigation by Het Nieuwsblad, using the AI detector Pangram, found that 22.5% of 491 Dutch-language questions submitted to the Belgian federal government were entirely AI-generated, with partial AI use in another 20.4%. This marks a notable adoption of AI in legislative processes, raising transparency and authenticity concerns. The finding is based on a single newspaper's analysis and has not been independently verified.
