Archaeological discovery of medieval Ketelpoort foundations in Ghent

Archaeologists have identified potential foundations of the medieval Ketelpoort gate during excavations for a major tram line redevelopment in Ghent. The discovery occurs within a multi-year, 23-million-euro infrastructure project scheduled for completion in 2029.
