France anticipates severe traffic congestion for July-August vacation crossover

French traffic authority Bison Futé has designated Saturday, August 1, as a 'black' day for travel due to the peak crossover of July and August vacationers. Significant delays are expected on major corridors toward the Atlantic coast, the Southwest, the Rhône Valley, and the Mediterranean, as well as the Île-de-France region.
