Israel election campaign dominated by Oct 7 trauma ahead of anniversary

Ahead of the three-year anniversary of the Hamas massacres and the October 27 legislative elections, the campaign remains centered on the trauma of the attacks. The focus on the tragedy suggests security and national resilience are the defining electoral issues, with parties likely competing over who is best positioned to address these concerns. The outcome will shape Israel's political landscape and its approach to ongoing regional tensions.
