Natura expands Amazonian agroforestry palm oil production to displace monoculture supply chains

Natura is scaling its agroforestry palm oil operations in the Amazon, aiming to transition from 1,172 hectares to 12,000 hectares by 2040 to eliminate reliance on monoculture sources. The company has committed R$ 80 million in total investment through 2030, though the current scale remains under 10% of its long-term target, highlighting significant execution risk in supply chain transformation.
