Saudi airstrikes in Yemen's Taiz kill 12, Houthis report

Saudi warplanes struck civilian homes in Taiz governorate on Oct 17, killing nine and wounding 16, per Houthi claims; total death toll reported at 12. The strike continues the ongoing Saudi-led coalition campaign against Houthi forces, with civilian casualties a recurring pattern. The claim is unverified by independent sources, and the incident may escalate regional tensions.
