Researchers have recovered over 2,200 fragments of the Twannberg meteorite in Switzerland's canton of Bern, one of Europe's most significant meteorite fields. The meteorite, estimated to have weighed at least 250 tons, broke apart on atmospheric entry about 175,000 years ago.
