Paraná River rise threatens Corrientes livestock; producers evacuate herds

Producers in Corrientes, Argentina, are evacuating livestock ahead of an expected rise in the Paraná River next week, according to Fabián Gotardo, president of the Sociedad Rural de Bella Vista. The event is part of a seasonal pattern, but the scale of the forecast rise and potential flooding remains uncertain. This could disrupt local agricultural production and supply chains in the region.
