Second commercial ship hit in Persian Gulf in three days; fire onboard

A commercial vessel was struck by a projectile in the Persian Gulf on Friday, causing a fire onboard, marking the second such attack on shipping in the Gulf within three days. The identity of the attacker and the vessel's flag are not yet confirmed. This escalation raises risks for regional maritime traffic and could disrupt oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
