Greek tourism revenue grows 14.8% in H1 2026 despite slight decline in per-traveler spending

Greek tourism revenue reached 8.79 billion euros in the first half of 2026, driven by a 15.4% increase in inbound traffic. While total revenue is on track for a record year, average spending per trip contracted by 0.6%, marking a reversal from the 10% growth observed in the same period of 2025.
