Wallonia approves car sticker draft, set for May 2027 launch

The Walloon government approved the draft cooperation agreement and first-reading texts for a regional car sticker, effective May 1, 2027. The sticker will apply to cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes on motorways and regional roads across Belgium, aiming to fund road maintenance. Implementation remains subject to final approvals and coordination with other regions.
