Brazilian Federal University Rectors Endorse Lula Re-election

Andifes, the association of federal university rectors, publicly endorsed President Lula's re-election, citing defense of democracy, education, and science. This marks a notable institutional alignment ahead of the election, potentially influencing academic and public opinion. The move signals consolidation of support within the education sector but does not alter the electoral landscape decisively.
