Supreme Court of India orders refund of ₹5 crore environmental fine to Art of Living foundation

The Supreme Court of India has overturned a previous order requiring the Art of Living foundation to pay environmental compensation for damage to the Yamuna floodplains. The court directed the Delhi Development Authority to refund the ₹5 crore deposit, effectively reversing the penalty imposed for the 2016 World Culture Festival.
