Belgium: Social Integration Beneficiaries Outnumber Unemployment Beneficiaries for First Time

For the first time, the number of Belgians receiving social integration income from CPAS exceeds those receiving unemployment benefits, following a policy shift under the De Wever government. Since January, 133,000 people have lost unemployment benefits, while social integration rolls have grown.
