Moldova summons Russian ambassador over airspace incursions

Moldova's foreign ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov and delivered a protest note after five aircraft, three missiles, and two drones entered Moldovan airspace on Saturday, with some exploding near localities. This marks a formal diplomatic escalation following repeated airspace violations linked to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The incident underscores Moldova's exposure to spillover from the war and its fragile security posture.
