Rubio: Greece Deserves US Ambassador with Full Trust of President Trump

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Greece merits a US ambassador who holds the full trust of President Trump, signaling a potential shift in US diplomatic representation in Athens. The remark follows a change in embassy leadership and implies a recalibration of US-Greece relations, though no specific nominee or policy change was announced. The statement is notable for its explicit linkage of ambassadorial appointment to presidential confidence, suggesting a possible prioritization of bilateral ties.
