16 new air defense towers near Putin's Valdai residence, total ~50

Satellite imagery analyzed by RFE/RL shows at least 15 new air defense towers appeared in October within 50 km of Putin's Valdai residence, likely for Pantsir or Tor systems, bringing the total to about 50—nearly half the number protecting Moscow. This indicates heightened defensive measures around a key presidential site, possibly in response to perceived drone or missile threats.
