Craspedacusta sowerbii identified in Belgrade's Ada Ciganlija lake

Freshwater jellyfish, identified as the non-native species Craspedacusta sowerbii, have been observed in Ada Ciganlija lake. While these organisms are generally considered harmless to humans, their presence indicates a shift in local aquatic biodiversity.
