Mexican Navy kills Sinaloa cartel figure 'Chuy Peñuelas' in confrontation

Mexican Navy personnel killed Jesús González Peñuelas, a suspected drug trafficker with a $5 million U.S. bounty, during a confrontation in Sinaloa. The operation marks a notable enforcement action against a high-value target, though details on the circumstances remain limited. This could signal continued pressure on cartel leadership but may also provoke retaliatory violence.
