Ukrainian SBI investigates corruption scheme involving fraudulent military service in Azov Brigade

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has uncovered a scheme where approximately 100 conscripts allegedly paid $2,500 each to be falsely registered as serving in the Azov Brigade. The SBI clarified that the brigade's command was not involved in the illicit activity, suggesting the fraud was perpetrated by external intermediaries or lower-level administrative personnel.
