EU and CIK officials cite new electoral technology as basis for improved integrity in Bosnia and Herzegovina

EU and Central Election Commission (CIK) representatives state that the implementation of biometric voter identification and optical ballot scanners will enhance the fairness of upcoming elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The effectiveness of these technologies in mitigating historical electoral fraud remains to be tested in a live environment.
