Hurricane Polo, Category 5, moves off Mexico's Pacific coast after causing evacuations

Hurricane Polo regained Category 5 strength as it moved away from Mexico's Pacific coast into open waters, after earlier forcing evacuations, port closures, and school cancellations. No fatalities have been reported. The storm's departure reduces immediate threat, but residual heavy rains and winds continue along parts of the coast.
