EU Committee to Debate Resolution Condemning Serbia's Glorification of War Criminals

The European Committee of the Regions will discuss a draft resolution today condemning the glorification of war criminals in Serbia and urging protection of European values. The move signals heightened EU scrutiny of Serbia's domestic political culture amid its EU accession process. The resolution's adoption could strain EU-Serbia relations and pressure Belgrade to align with EU norms.
