North Korea FM Choe urges stronger ties with China in letter to Wang Yi

North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui sent a letter to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi calling for enhanced bilateral cooperation, signaling continued alignment between Pyongyang and Beijing amid regional tensions. The move reinforces the established pattern of North Korea-China diplomatic engagement, with no indication of a policy shift. This matters as it underscores the solidity of the Sino-DPRK axis, which has implications for regional security dynamics and US-South Korea alliance posture.
