Norwegian school inspections find widespread police certificate violations

Norwegian county governors and the education directorate found that six in ten inspections of primary schools and SFOs revealed violations of the police certificate requirement for employees. 75% of municipalities and 44% of private schools obtained certificates only after employment began, indicating systemic compliance gaps in child-safety vetting.
