Former Ukraine Security Council Head Injured in Kyiv Fire; Assistant Killed

A fire at the Academy of Sciences in Kyiv injured former NSDC head Volodymyr Gorbulin and killed his assistant. The cause is unclear; given Gorbulin's high-profile security role, arson or targeted attack cannot be ruled out, though accidental causes are possible. This incident may have political or security implications in wartime Ukraine.
