Galápagos Expedition Finds No Blue Whales, Raising Route Questions

A scientific expedition in the Galápagos from October 2025 to July 2026 failed to sight any blue whales, despite extensive surveys. The absence challenges existing assumptions about blue whale migration routes in the eastern Pacific. The finding is based on expedition reports, but the lack of sightings is not yet corroborated by other data.
