Belgium Bancontact card payments to face overnight outage for maintenance

Worldline will perform scheduled maintenance on its electronic payment system overnight from Sunday to Monday, 1-5 AM, causing potential failures for Bancontact transactions in Belgium across physical stores, online, and gas stations. Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa transactions and ATM withdrawals remain unaffected. This is a routine intervention, not an emergency, but could disrupt consumer payments during the window.
