Moldova proposes criminal penalties for thesis ghostwriting and commercialization

Moldova's Ministry of Education and Research has proposed amendments to the Penal Code and Code of Contraventions introducing fines up to 125,000 lei or up to three years' imprisonment for commissioned and commercialized academic theses.
