Croatia to expand state-funded personal assistant program for disabled citizens

Minister Alen Ružić announced that the Croatian government will initiate tenders next week to hire approximately 2,000 additional personal assistants. This expansion aims to address a significant shortfall in support services for persons with disabilities, increasing the current workforce from 3,400 to meet full service requirements.
