Russian Orthodox clergyman detained for sexual exploitation of a minor

A 44-year-old hieromonk from the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery has been detained in Khimki on charges of sexual violence against a child under 12. The suspect allegedly used a pseudonym on social media to solicit nude photographs from a minor in the Leningrad Region, a charge to which he has reportedly confessed.
